Since its organization in 2008,ADUA has pushed to improve and balance service delivery to Ugandan communities experiencing limited humanitarian aid.
Beginning as a community-based organization in Mukono Sub-County and thereafter decided to operate in hard-to-reach areas.
ADUA has spread to assist the neglected Koome and Buvuma Islands in Lake Victoria.
ADUA takes a multifaceted approach in combating poverty, enacting programs in: livelihood development, primary healthcare, HIV/AIDS awareness, sexual and reproductive health issues, malaria prevention, and nutritional education. These initiatives help to meet profound needs in underserved areas.
ADUA will continue to advocate for the development of neglected areas as it "goes where no NGO has gone before." This organization's aid to poverty-stricken areas will uplift the lives of thousands as it brings services to those less privileged communities in Buvuma island district and Uganda at large.
